Solaleh Tamkinvash – Multidisciplinary Artist, Editor & Visual Storyteller

ree

Solaleh Tamkinvash is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges theatre, cinema, and digital arts. With a background in video editing, visual design, and stage projection, she has developed a distinctive artistic language that merges emotion, movement, and light. Her creations explore the delicate balance between reality and imagination, often using visual rhythm as a narrative voice in itself.

Over the years, Solaleh has collaborated with numerous independent theatre groups, filmmakers, and art institutions across Iran, contributing to projects that blend traditional storytelling with modern visual expression. Her approach is both poetic and precise—each frame, sound, and gesture crafted to awaken emotion and thought.

Selected Theatre & Visual Projects:

  • The Cherry Orchard – Video Editor & Visual Designer (Independent Theatre Group, Tehran)

  • The House of Bernarda Alba – Multimedia Projection Artist (Cultural Centre Niavaran, Tehran)

  • The Silent City – Assistant Director & Editor (Experimental Theatre Festival, Shiraz)

  • Echoes of Dust – Stage Video Creator (Women in Theatre Collective, Tehran)

  • The Fifth Season – Video Installation Designer (Private Stage Production, Isfahan)

Her artistic vision is deeply rooted in the human experience of time and silence—themes that she revisits through light, shadow, and rhythm. Beyond her technical mastery, Solaleh’s work carries a meditative quality that invites audiences to feel rather than simply watch. Her sensitivity to detail and her intuitive sense of atmosphere make her a rare artist capable of transforming every project into a visual and emotional journey.

Today, she continues her artistic journey with Résonance Scène (پژواک صحنه), where she contributes to visual direction, projection design, and editing for stage productions such as Afra, or The Day Passes. Her multidisciplinary expertise strengthens the collective’s visual identity and extends her commitment to telling stories through light, silence, and motion. Her presence is at once steady and inspiring — without her, the work would be far more difficult, for she carries every detail, every rhythm, and every emotion of the project in her heart... https://www.instagram.com/solaleh.tmkv/?hl=en
